Community support is important to the success of
helping every child succeed in school and in the
future. Donations
to READ assist with providing funding for volunteer
recruitment and training, mentor handbooks,
newsletters, office staff support, and a library of
specialized reading books, activities and games for
volunteers to use during their mentor sessions. |

Donations also help provide the
necessary matching local funding required to
participate in the Reading is Fundamental (RIF)
program, a national federal program which provides
every student with three free books to keep and take
home. Through your generosity, together we can make
a difference to improve reading skills and encourage
children to read for a lifetime. |
